چکیده
Biirger, H. and R. Schaback, A parallel multistage method for surface/surface intersection, Computer Aided Geometric Design 10 (1993) 277-291. A global divide-and-conquer method and a local marching method are combined into a massively parallel algorithm for surface/surface intersection. Special attention is given to the comparison of bounding boxes and to the safe and efficient calculation of all components of the intersection. The computational complexity of the algorithm is analyzed, and a series of examples is provided for illustration of the theoretical results.

Physical Optics Calculation of Electromagnetic Scattering From Haack Series Nose Cone
In this paper, the physical optics method is used to study the problem of electromagnetic scattering from Haack series nose cone. First, a meshing scheme is introduced which approximates the curvature of the surface by piecewise linear functions in both axial and rotational directions. This results in planar quadrilateral patches and enables efficient determination of the illuminated region and...

Introduction: The previous studies have used fibrous absorbents usually in the form of cone-shaped wedges for making anechoic and semi-anechoic chambers which their design and construction have been costly and difficult. The present study aimed to design a semi-anechoic chamber, using rectangular fibrous absorbents and also perform acoustic analysis for it. . Material and Method: In the presen...
متن کامل2D Analytical Modeling of Magnetic Vector Potential in Surface Mounted and Surface Inset Permanent Magnet Machines
A 2D analytical method for magnetic vector potential calculation in inner rotor surface mounted and surface inset permanent magnet machines considering slotting effects, magnetization orientation and winding layout has been proposed in this paper. The analytical method is based on the resolution of Laplace and Poisson equations as well as Maxwell equation in quasi- Cartesian coordinate by using...
متن کاملMelting Heat Transfer and Radiation Effects on Jeffrey Fluid Flow over a Continuously Moving Surface with a Parallel Free Stream
This article is proposed to address the melting heat transfer of a Jeffrey fluid in Blasius and Sakiadis flow caused due to a moving surface. Thermal radiation and a constant free stream are considered in this mathematical model. The non-linear coupled dimensionless equations from the governing equations are attained by employing appropriate similarity transformations. The resulting dimensionle...
متن کاملA tracing method for parametric Bezier triangular surface/plane intersection
Surface/plane intersection problem is a special case of surface/surface intersection, and is an active area of research across many disciplines in computer-aided geometric design. This paper presents, in general the setting of derivational continuities, (i.e. C, C, and C), a surface/plane intersection algorithm for parametric Bézier triangular surface over triangular domain. The present algorit...
